DESCRIPTION:Greetings to all Members and Prospective Members of the IALEIA Jamaica Chapter. \n  \nThe IALEIA Jamaica Chapter will host a virtual Chapter Meeting on Wednesday September 18\, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (EST). The Guest Presenter will be Ms. Jahnille Johnson with a presentation titled “Illusion of Fortune: Understanding Jamaican Lottery Scamming Networks”. \n  \nMs. Johnson is the Manager of the US Joint Operation Linked to Telemarketing (JOLT) Fusion Center based in Kingston\, Jamaica. With over a decade of experience in law enforcement as an Intelligence Analyst and Investigator\, she has honed her skill set centred on critical thinking\, data analysis and strategic insight. \n  \nHer journey began as a sworn Law Enforcement Officer providing intelligence analysis to departments within the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF). She moved on to work with the US Embassy\, Kingston – US Postal Inspection Service and other federal agencies to tackle fraud\, money laundering and lottery scamming related investigations. \n  \nMs. Johnson’s training and experiences has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of trends\, law enforcement objectives and the importance of timely\, accurate information in decision-making. Her career working in various roles of law enforcement is characterized by a commitment to excellence\, collaboration\, adaptability\, ethical conduct\, and continuous learning. These principles form the bedrock of best practices for Intelligence Analysts in law enforcement\, ensuring a dynamic and effective response to the challenges of the modern security environment. \n  \nThe presentation is expected to be informative and exceptional. \n  \nDetails on how to join the meeting will be provided.
